The typical rate of editing is 4-6 double-spaced pages per hour.
A 25-page research article will cost about $450.
Substantive editing:
This service is for early drafts that need to be revised at a more fundamental level or text with high complexity (e.g., NIH grants). This type of editing typically proceeds at 3-4 double-spaced pages per hour and costs about $525 per article. R01 NIH grants average 6-7 hours (~$600).
Critical evaluation of experimental results and conclusions is included with all editing.
